Front Desk Executive

Job Description

1. Job Overview The Front Desk Executive is responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring seamless check-in and check-out processes, and managing front office operations. This role requires a professional and courteous individual to be the first point of contact for guests. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and a strong attention to detail.

2. Key Responsibilities

Manage front desk operations, including handling guest arrivals, departures, and inquiries
Ensure accurate and efficient check-in and check-out procedures, including processing payments and handling room assignments
Respond to guest complaints and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments to ensure rooms are ready for occupancy
Maintain accurate records of guest information, reservations, and payments
Handle cash and credit transactions, including processing payments and handling refunds
Provide information and assistance to guests regarding hotel services, amenities, and local attractions
Maintain a clean and organized front desk area, including managing stationery and supplies

3. Required Skills

Technical skills: Proficiency in Property Management System (PMS) and Microsoft Office
Soft skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work under pressure, strong attention to detail, and a customer-centric approach
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and provide support to colleagues as needed
Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
Fluency in English and one additional Indian language (preferably Hindi)

4. Qualifications & Experience

Graduate degree in Hospitality Management or a related field
Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a similar role in a 4-star hotel or equivalent
Proven track record of providing exceptional customer service and ensuring high levels of guest satisfaction

5. Preferred Skills

Knowledge of hotel industry standards and best practices
Experience with hotel reservation systems and online booking platforms
Certification in hospitality management or a related field
Ability to speak additional languages, including international languages such as German, French, or Spanish
