Job Description
1. Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Product Photographer to capture high-quality images of our products for marketing and e-commerce platforms. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and the ability to work independently. This role requires a strong understanding of photography techniques and equipment.
2. Key Responsibilities
●Plan and execute photo shoots for various products, ensuring consistent lighting, styling, and composition.
●Operate and maintain photography equipment, including cameras, lenses, and lighting systems.
●Edit and retouch images using photo editing software, such as Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop.
●Collaborate with the design team to conceptualize and create visually appealing product images.
●Shoot products from various angles, including 360-degree views, to showcase features and details.
●Ensure all images meet the required resolution, format, and quality standards for web and print use.
●Manage and organize image files, including naming, tagging, and storing them in a centralized database.
●Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in product photography to continuously improve skills and techniques.
3. Required Skills
●Technical skills: proficiency in photography techniques, including lighting, composition, and exposure; experience with photo editing software, such as Adobe Creative Suite; and knowledge of camera equipment and accessories.
●Soft skills: attention to detail, creativity, organizational skills, and ability to work under deadlines; excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
4. Qualifications & Experience
●Bachelor's degree in Photography, Fine Arts, or a related field.
●Minimum 2-3 years of experience in product photography, with a portfolio showcasing high-quality images.
●Strong understanding of photography principles, including lighting, composition, and color theory.
5. Preferred Skills
●Experience with e-commerce product photography and knowledge of Amazon, Flipkart, and other online marketplaces' image requirements.
●Familiarity with studio lighting and equipment, such as softboxes, umbrellas, and reflectors.
●Knowledge of video production and editing software, such as Adobe Premiere Pro, for creating product videos and animations.
