Job Description

1. Job Overview The Sales Officer will play a crucial role in driving business growth by acquiring new clients and expanding existing relationships. This position requires a highly motivated and results-driven individual who can effectively promote financial services to potential customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the financial services industry and excellent sales skills.

2. Key Responsibilities

Identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and referrals to meet sales targets
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to increase repeat business and referrals
Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and competitor activity
Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of financial services to clients
Provide exceptional customer service to resolve client queries and concerns
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and sales performance
Achieve monthly sales targets and contribute to team sales performance

3. Required Skills The candidate should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients. Strong sales and negotiation skills are essential, along with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Technical skills required include knowledge of financial services, banking, and NBFC products, as well as proficiency in MS Office and CRM software. The candidate should also have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

4. Qualifications & Experience The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field, with a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in sales, preferably in the financial services industry. A strong track record of achieving sales targets and expanding existing relationships is essential.

5. Preferred Skills Experience in working with channel partners, knowledge of regulatory requirements in the financial services industry, and proficiency in sales automation tools would be an added advantage.
