Job Description
Role Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Site Engineer to bridge the gap between design concepts and on-site reality. You will be responsible for overseeing construction progress, ensuring that structural execution strictly aligns with architectural drawings, material specifications, and quality standards. Key Responsibilities
Drawing Compliance:
Interpret architectural, structural, and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) drawings to ensure accurate execution on-site.
Quality Control:
Inspect construction materials, workmanship, and structural finishes to ensure they match design specifications and safety codes.
On-Site Coordination:
Act as the primary liaison between the main office architects, project managers, contractors, and vendors.
Progress Tracking:
Monitor daily/weekly construction schedules, log site progress reports, and flag potential delays early.
Problem Solving:
Resolve spatial conflicts or technical discrepancies on-site in consultation with the design team. Requirements &
Qualifications Education:
Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or Construction Management. Experience: 2+ years of on-site supervision experience, preferably working closely with architectural or interior design projects.
Skills:
Strong ability to read and interpret complex architectural blueprints and structural details. Basic proficiency in AutoCAD or Revit for checking design references. Solid understanding of building materials, concrete testing, and finishing works.
Attributes:
Excellent communication skills, strong leadership, and a keen eye for aesthetic detail (ensuring clean lines, alignments, and proper material finishes).
