Job Description

1. Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and hospitality-focused Waiter to join our team, providing exceptional dining experiences for our customers. The successful candidate will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. This role requires a strong focus on customer service and attention to detail.

2. Key Responsibilities

●Greet and welcome customers, presenting menus and making recommendations when required
●Take accurate orders, handling cash and credit transactions efficiently
●Serve food and beverages in a prompt and courteous manner, ensuring orders are fulfilled correctly
●Manage table settings, maintaining a clean and organized environment for customers
●Handle customer complaints and feedback in a professional and courteous manner
●Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient service delivery
●Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods to answer customer queries
●Participate in pre-service and post-service duties, including preparing the dining area and cleaning equipment

Required Skills Technical:
Knowledge of food and beverage preparation, basic math skills for handling transactions, and familiarity with point-of-sale systems.
Soft:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work under pressure, attention to detail, and a strong customer-centric approach.

4. Qualifications & Experience Candidates should have a minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the food and beverage industry. A diploma or certificate in hospitality or a related field is desirable. The ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, is essential.

5. Preferred Skills Knowledge of food safety and handling practices, experience with inventory management, and proficiency in a second language (preferably a regional Indian language) would be advantageous. Additionally, certification in first aid or food safety would be a plus.
