Counter Sales Executive (Pharmacy) Role Overview We are looking for a reliable and customer-oriented Counter Sales Executive to join our pharmacy team. You will be the first point of contact for our customers, responsible for accurately dispensing medications, managing billings, and ensuring a seamless experience for every patient. Key Responsibilities

Prescription Handling:

Read and interpret handwritten or digital prescriptions accurately.

Customer Service:

Assist walk-in customers with over-the-counter (OTC) medicines, health supplements, and surgical products.

Billing & Cashiering:

Process transactions using the pharmacy management software and handle cash/digital payments.

Inventory Management:

Monitor stock levels, check for expiring medicines, and assist in periodic stock audits.

Compliance:

Ensure all sales adhere to local pharmacy laws and regulations (e.g., checking for valid prescriptions for scheduled drugs). Requirements &

Skills Education:

High School diploma required; a Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm) or related field is a major plus. Experience: 1–2 years of experience in a retail pharmacy or medical store preferred.

Accuracy:

Strong attention to detail to ensure the correct dosage and medicine are provided.

Tech-Savvy:

Basic computer skills and familiarity with billing software.

Soft Skills:

Clear communication, empathy, and the ability to remain calm in a fast-paced environment. Work Environment Standard retail hours (may include shifts or weekends). Must be comfortable standing for extended periods.
