Job Description
1. Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Software Developer to join our team, focusing on product modification and enhancement. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development and a passion for delivering high-quality products. This role requires a unique blend of technical expertise and collaborative spirit.
2. Key Responsibilities
●Design, develop, and test software modifications to enhance existing products, ensuring alignment with user requirements and company standards.
●Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, quality assurance, and design, to identify and prioritize product modification opportunities.
●Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and high-quality deliverables.
●Troubleshoot and resolve complex software issues, using debugging tools and techniques to identify root causes.
●Develop and maintain technical documentation for modified software products, including user manuals and release notes.
●Work closely with the QA team to develop and execute test plans, ensuring modified products meet quality and functionality standards.
●Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, applying this knowledge to continuously improve software development processes and product modifications.
●Contribute to the development of best practices, coding standards, and software development methodologies within the team.
3. Required
Skills Technical Skills:
Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, C++, or equivalent; experience with agile development methodologies; knowledge of database management systems; and familiarity with cloud-based platforms.
Soft Skills:
Excellent problem-solving skills, strong communication and collaboration abilities, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
4. Qualifications & Experience
●Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
●Minimum 3-5 years of experience in software development, with a focus on product modification and enhancement.
●Proven track record of delivering high-quality software products, with a strong understanding of software development life cycles and methodologies.
5. Preferred Skills
●Experience with DevOps tools and practices, such as Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD).
●Knowledge of containerization using Docker and orchestration using Kubernetes.
●Familiarity with cloud-based platforms, such as AWS or Azure, and experience with migration and deployment of applications on these platforms.
●Certification in software development methodologies, such as Agile or Scrum, is a plus.
