Job Description
Accountant We are seeking a diligent and experienced Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of accounting principles and a proven track record of managing financial records, with a specific focus on proficiency in Tally and a solid understanding of GST compliance. Key Responsibilities Financial
Record Management:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and accounts.
Tally Operations:
Utilize Tally ERP software for daily data entry, ledger management, balance sheet preparation, and generating various financial reports.
GST Compliance:
Manage all aspects of Goods and Services Tax (GST) compliance, including the timely and accurate filing of GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, etc.). Bank &
Account Reconciliation:
Perform regular bank reconciliations and reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Reporting:
Prepare and present financial statements, profit & loss accounts, and other reports as required by management.
Auditing:
Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
Invoicing & Payments:
Handle invoicing, monitor accounts receivable, and process payments to vendors in a timely manner.
Qualifications Experience:
Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar financial role.
Technical Skills:
Mandatory:
Strong proficiency in Tally ERP is essential.
Mandatory:
In-depth knowledge of GST filing procedures and regulations. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce, or a related field.
Skills:
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
