Job Description
Jey Key Rugs is looking for an HR Executive to manage day-to-day HR activities for our rug manufacturing unit. The candidate will be responsible for recruitment, employee records, attendance, payroll coordination, worker relations and general HR administration.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle recruitment of workers, supervisors and office staff.
- Post vacancies, screen candidates and conduct preliminary interviews.
- Manage joining formalities, documentation and employee onboarding.
- Maintain employee records and HR data in ERP/HRMS.
- Monitor attendance, absenteeism, late coming, leave and weekly offs.
- Verify overtime, incentives and attendance data for salary preparation.
- Coordinate monthly payroll information with Accounts/Management.
- Maintain department-wise manpower requirements and follow up on vacancies.
- Regularly coordinate with department supervisors regarding manpower requirements.
- Handle employee and worker grievances and ensure timely resolution.
- Monitor employee discipline and workplace policies.
- Maintain records of probation, confirmation, increments, warnings and disciplinary actions.
- Handle resignations, notice periods, exit formalities and full & final documentation.
- Maintain HR MIS including manpower, attendance, absenteeism, recruitment and attrition reports.
- Coordinate employee welfare, training and engagement activities.
- Assist management with PF, ESIC, Bonus, Gratuity and applicable labour-law compliance.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee, salary and company information.
- Regularly visit production departments and interact with workers and supervisors instead of handling HR only from the office.
Candidate Requirements
Education: Graduate; MBA/PGDM in HR preferred.
Experience:
- 2β5 years preferred.
- Experience in manufacturing/factory/textile industry will be given preference.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and basic computer applications.
- Knowledge of HRMS/ERP will be an advantage.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong follow-up and problem-solving ability.
- Should be comfortable interacting with factory workers as well as management.
- Basic knowledge of labour laws, PF and ESIC preferred.
Important: Candidate should regularly visit production departments to understand worker issues, manpower shortages and department-level problems on the factory floor.
