Job Description
Jey Key Rugs is looking for a creative and skilled Product Photographer to handle photography and visual content for our rugs, carpets, yarns and home-textile products.
The candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality and colour-accurate product images for international buyers, catalogues, website, exhibitions and social media.
Key Responsibilities:
- Photograph rugs, carpets, samples, yarns and other products professionally.
- Set up and manage camera, lighting, backgrounds and photography equipment.
- Take product shots, close-up/detail shots and lifestyle photographs.
- Ensure accurate reproduction of product colours, textures and details.
- Edit and retouch photographs using Photoshop, Lightroom or similar software.
- Remove/clean backgrounds and prepare images according to required formats and sizes.
- Create images for buyer presentations, catalogues, website and social media.
- Shoot and edit short product videos, reels and factory/process content.
- Maintain an organised digital library of photographs by design/article/product.
- Coordinate with Design, Sampling, Merchandising and Management teams.
- Maintain photography equipment and studio area.
Candidate Requirements
- Experience in product/e-commerce photography preferred.
- Knowledge of DSLR/Mirrorless cameras, lenses and professional lighting.
- Good knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom or equivalent software.
- Understanding of lighting, composition, colour correction and image retouching.
- Basic video shooting and editing skills preferred.
- Experience with textiles, rugs, carpets, furniture, fashion or home décor will be an advantage.
- Should have good attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Important:
For our products, colour accuracy is extremely important. Images should represent the actual colour and texture of the rug as closely as possible and should not be excessively edited.
Experience:
1–3 years preferred
Education: Graduate/Diploma preferred; candidates with a strong photography portfolio may be considered regardless of degree.
